Redefining the Moment is quite possibly the greatest pop rock band you can find this side of the Rio Grande. Comprised of Blake Manuel, Grant Irvin, Luke Icenhower, and Anthony Ortega, the melodic rock quartet originally formed in August 2005 in Houston, Texas but now calls Austin its home. The band’s sound can be compared to bands like Relient K, Motion City Soundtrack, Fall Out Boy, and Blink-182, even while drawing upon influences such as Our Lady Peace, Coheed and Cambria, Deftones, Sublime, and many more.
In August 2007, Redefining the Moment released its first full-length album “Earplugs Highly Recommended” and things have only gotten better since. With a slew of high-caliber, high-energy shows, a music video for the hit single “Modesty”, and innumerable press reviews and televised interviews, the band is riding high on success that they didn’t even think possible in such a short time span. But as the band prepares to launch into a series of nationwide tours, you can look forward to seeing Redefining the Moment at a show near you before you know it.
The moment is coming. Don’t let it pass you by.
